Dubai Palm Tree Islands: Palm Jumeirah Dubai, Palm Jebel Ali Dubai and Palm Deira




The three Dubai Palm Tree Islands are: Palm Jumeirah Dubai, Palm Jebel Ali and Palm Deira. In 2001 construction started on the Jebel Ali Palm and soon after the second palm in the Jumeirah area began. The development of the third palm in Deira started in 2003.

The Dubai islands are the world's largest man-made artificial islands and are constructed by Nakheel Properties.In total the coastline of Dubai will be extended by 520 km.

More than 100 luxury hotels, exclusive residential beach side villas and apartments, marinas, water theme parks, restaurants, shopping malls, sports facilities and health spas will be build on those rock and sand islands. The Islands project will be approximately finished by 2018.
