Dubai Underwater Hotel, Hydropolis, the first underwater hotel in the world, is one of Dubai's mega projects in the making. The 220 suits are at a depth of 20 meters and spending a night costs $5,500. The total investment for the project was $500-million.Constructed from a combination of concrete, steel and clear Plexiglas, Hydropolis will be the world's first underwater luxury hotel.This unique hotel will be completed by 2009.
